Where is the hotel located?

The property is conveniently located just below the well-known St. Paul’s School on Jalapahar Road, approximately 1 km from the main town area.

How far is Mall Road from the hotel?

The hotel is situated around 1.5 km from Mall Road, in the direction of Jalapahar.

Does the property have a lift?

The property does not have a lift, as it has been thoughtfully designed in a colonial style and has been in existence for over 27 years. However, for senior citizens or guests with specific requirements, we are happy to allocate rooms on the lower floors upon request at the time of booking.

Can vehicles reach directly to the hotel entrance?

Yes, vehicles can reach directly up to the main entrance of the hotel for convenient access.

Kindly note that there are a few steps leading from the entrance to the reception area and nearby rooms.

Does your Darjeeling property have parking and chauffeur accommodation?

We do offer limited parking at the property, primarily reserved for private guest vehicles, as the space is compact and also accommodates hotel vehicles.

While we do not have in-house accommodation for chauffeurs, there are several comfortable homestays and lodging options available within a short 2–3 minute walk from the hotel.

Do you have central heating or provide room heaters?

While the hotel does not have central heating, we ensure our guests’ comfort by providing room heaters as well as bed warmers for added warmth during colder months.

Do you have an indoor play area for children?

Yes, we have a children’s play area along with indoor recreational options such as table tennis and board games for guests to enjoy.

Is the hotel within walking distance from the Mall or market area?

Yes, guests can walk to and from the town. The hotel is located approximately 1.5 km uphill from the main town area. The walk uphill usually takes about 25–30 minutes, while the downhill walk takes around 15 minutes.

For added convenience, we also offer a complimentary shuttle service between the hotel and Clubstand (the town center) at scheduled times in the morning (9:30 AM - 11:30 AM) and evening (5:00 PM - 7:00 PM).

Can you assist with booking toy train tickets, or should we arrange them ourselves?

Do your rooms have bathtubs?

We regret to inform you that our rooms do not feature bathtubs. These were replaced with modern shower facilities as part of our efforts to manage water resources responsibly while ensuring guest comfort.

How many floors does the property have?

The property comprises multiple sections: the Main Wing has 4 floors, while both the Tower Wing and the Cottage Area have 3 floors each.

Can you assist with simple food preparation for infants?

Yes, our chefs will be happy to assist with preparing simple meals for infants. You are welcome to share your preferred preparation methods, and our team will do their best to accommodate your requirements.

Are the rooms non-smoking?

Yes, all our rooms are strictly non-smoking to ensure a comfortable and healthy environment for all guests. Guests who wish to smoke may do so in designated public areas.

Is the property pet-friendly?

While we have 2 local breed dogs on the premises and a deep appreciation for animals, we regret to inform you that guest pets are not permitted within the property.

Do the rooms have balconies?

While the rooms do not have balconies, each room has large windows that let you enjoy beautiful scenic views.
